Who Should Attend?
This online training will be most useful for people working in or interested in the Biopharmaceutical industry who need a solid grasp of monoclonal antibody (Mab) and/or fractions of antibodies (Fab). This course will benefit people in quality control, quality assurance, analytics and research departments by giving them a solid grasp on the basics of monoclonal antibodies and fraction of antibodies.

Course Description
This course will benefit the personnel who are responsible for quality or analytics of Mab’s and Fab’s. This 90-minute accredited course will include discussions on the basic properties of Mab’s and Fab’s as well as their history in the pharmaceutical industry. The course will also include a basic set of analysis used for Mab and Fab to determine quality. The course will also discuss different quality attributes that can affect a Mab or Fab.

Rachel Monsef, Consultant to the biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industries

Rachel Monsef is a consultant to the biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industry for analytical and quality control. She has 19 years’ experience working with many types of assays for all stages of drug development. She has been responsible for method development, method qualification, method validation, assay transfers, characterization work and stability studies. Ms. Monsef also worked with manufacturing groups to develop and perform assays to support their efforts. She has previously worked for Seattle Genetics and Alder Biopharmaceuticals and is currently consulting for both companies.
