Description
This overview course covers the major aspects of aerosol technology, concentrating on the successful formulation and packaging of the major personal care and household consumer product lines. The basic techniques of formulation and container handling, propellant theory and practice, component choices and physicochemical problems will be presented. Quality control and regulations will be addressed. While there will be some reference to ethical pharmaceutical inhalation/foam aerosols, The Center’s course, “Pharmaceutical Aerosol Technology,” is available on this topic.
