Description
Once the decision to upgrade or purchase a LIMS is made, one is
faced with addressing a number of issues from "management buy-in"
to "how long will it take", "what will it cost, and "how will it help me
comply with 21CFR11"?
This course will provide useful insights into efficient LIMS computer
planning and management for the Pharmaceutical business with
specific guidelines on how to plan, implement and maintain the LIMS
for your company. The entire program including the vendor
presentation is focused on Pharmaceuticals. A mini-workshop on
Writing the Request for Proposal (RFP) is included. Saving money,
gaining experience from others and avoiding the mistakes commonly
associated with attempts at laboratory computerization is a goal of
this course. The inclusion of vendor demonstrations and vendor
participation is an integral part of this course and these presentations
will greatly benefit the participants by learning what to look for in the
final purchase of the LIMS for their company.
