Dr. Keith Masters, is President of SprayDryConsult, a
consulting service organization based in Denmark, specializing
in powder production and technology aspects associated with
spray drying operations and related drying processes. His
more than forty years of experience in this field covers a wide
spectrum of activities ranging from participation in spray drying
process development and technology advances to on-site
operations. He is also known world-wide as the author of the
most comprehensive books on the subject, including the
Spray Drying Handbook, and his latest book, 'Spray Drying in
Practice' published in 2002.
Robert F. Schiffmann; President, R.F. Schiffmann Associates, Inc., USA
Robert F. Schiffmann, is President of R.F. Schiffmann
Associates, Inc., consultants specializing in microwave
products and applications for industry. He has been
responsible for the commercialization of numerous microwave
processes and products from microwave ovens to large
industrial systems. Mr. Schiffmann is recognized internationally
for his pioneering contributions to microwave processing in the
food industry. He was President of the International Microwave
Power Institute from 1973 to 1981, and was Chairman of the
Board from 1981 to 1983. A former Associate Editor of the
Journal of Microwave Power, Mr. Schiffmann has lectured
widely in the U.S. and Europe on topics relating to microwave
processing, and has written numerous articles on these topics.
He holds nearly thirty U.S. patents in the microwave area and
has consulted for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, textile,
medical and other industries.
