Pre-recorded Course
AN ON-DEMAND ONLINE TRAINING FORMAT
Who Should Attend
This online course will benefit professionals working in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical, Chemical and Polymer fields. It will appeal
to doctors, pharmacists, chemists, formulators, polymer scientists, technicians and managers who work in the R&D, manufacturing, sales,
marketing, regulatory, clinical, QA, logistical and strategic functions.
Description
This 90-minute accredited online training course is designed to give the student an introduction to the ways polymers are used to enhance the
delivery of drugs, without delving into the way the drugs work. It describes how drugs are delivered orally and the different ways their release
can be controlled or triggered by their immediate environment. It describes other delivery routes and how polymers are helping in wound
healing, chemo and gene therapy. It describes the main types of polymers used to enhance drug delivery, assuming a basic understanding of
polymer science.
